Being a professional musician means that I am able to demonstrate what I teach, to which my students respond well. I believe in the fundamental need to develop the important and necessary skills that anyone needs to be able to play music, but also recognise that there are many different learning styles and that lessons need to be tailored to suit the individual. I genuinely care about providing my students with the opportunity to learn and grow both academically and artistically.

I enjoy working with students though the process of preparing for performances, setting up for concerts and generally getting to see that side of them where they really strive to be the best that they can be.
